About DNS Propagation Checker
The DNS Propagation Checker queries multiple well-known public resolvers (e.g., Google, Cloudflare, OpenDNS, Quad9, Yandex, and others) to show how your DNS record resolves across different networks and regions worldwide.
Enter a domain and select a record type, then click Check. The results table lists each resolver, the nameserver IPs it used, the query Status (success or error), and the Answers it returned. The map visualizes resolver locations and groups providers that share the same nameserver IP; marker popups summarize status and a sample answer.
Supported record types: A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, NS, SOA, TXT. Differences between resolvers are normal during propagation due to independent caches, TTL values, geo-routing/anycast, and security policies. For faster rollouts, lower TTLs ahead of changes and allow up to 24–48 hours for global visibility.
